Aalo is prepared for Celebration of Mopin Festival

Aalo March 29: Shri Degam Ete, President Central Mopin Celebration Committee Aalo, 2010 informed that arrangement were on and fully prepared to celebrates this year's Mopin Festival with renewed vigor and zeal in a grand manner wherein one can have a glance of rich tradition and culture of Galo Community.

More attractions during the festival would be of wide range of cultural activities including folk dances having complete testimony of Galo Culture, Mega Fashion Show, Indigenous Sports, Local Cuisines and much more. Seminars and Essay writing Competitions is underway among the students to inculcate a sense of culture among the young generations.

The programme to be kick-up from March 31, 2010 upto April 4, 2010, a time framed for various competitions of cultural programme and sports and the formal programme starts from April 5 to April 8, 2010. The Central Mopin Celebration Committee 2010, Aalo has the pleasure to solicit the gracious presence of everyone to witness the grand celebration at Aalo. Shri Likha Saaya, MLA cum Chairman APEDA Govt. of A.P. and Shri Tago Basar, Director, Agriculture will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Shri G.B. Mukherjee, IAS Secretary, Tribal affairs Govt. of India has also consented to attend the Mopin Festival as Special Guest. (Eleng Nokar)
